Jeff Oliver

Jeff played his first game in the 1980 Centenary Season and played almost exclusively in 1XI during his career before retiring from league cricket in 2002. Unchallenged as all rounder for the team during this 22 year period, often opening both the batting and the bowling. One of a handful of players with a league century and a 5 wicket haul during career for club (Mike Watts & Stuart Taylor being the only other homegrown players to achieve this for the 1XI). One of 2 players to score 50 and take 5 wickets in the same game twice (Mike Barlow was the first).

Played in the Midweek side in 2004. After 7 years out of the game returned to action in 2011. After 15 years on 99 wickets for the Sunday side became only the 4th player to take 100 wickets against Davipart in June. Then in 2013 reached 1,000 runs against Kings Old Boys then became the second player to score 1,000 runs and take 100 wickets in the Sunday team when he took 4-16 against Genetics.
