Made his debut in the Friendly side in 2003 alongside twin brother Ed at Stocksfield. Although a Junior at the Club played his league cricket for Belsay before moving to play for Ponteland in 2006 and made his debut for the 1XI against Tynedale in the opening game of the season. Scored his maiden club fifty in the 2XI cup match against Leadgate at the start of the 2007 season with an unbeaten 66, the stand of 102* for the 3rd wicket was only the fourth recorded instance of a century partnership in the 2XI 20 over cup matches. Kept wicket for the first time during the 3XI season. His first 5 wicket innings came for the 2XI in 2008 against Cowgate when he took 7 for 39 and followed a week later with 6-29 against Lanchester finishing the rain interrupted season with 26 wickets, third in the league averages.
Moved overseas before the start of the 2011 season, returning in 2012 and recorded his best bowling figures for the 1XI in his first game back in the side with 4 for 8 in 8 overs against Benwell & Walbottle.
Moved to Kirkley after the first month of the 2015 season before switching to Ashington for 2016. Moved on to Stamfordham before returning to Ponteland for the start of the 2024 season |
