Played from 1988 to 1991 while a junior at the Club, one of the most successful periods in the U-17s history, winning the title in 1989 and the cup in 1989 and 1990 where he took 6-28.

Took one of only two known 2XI hat-tricks up to 2009, enroute to his 6-39 against Newcastle City.
