Joe Bailey

Played for the Club from 1950 (first recorded appearance) until 1957 when illness forced him to retire. Opening batsman and wicket keeper, he scored the first post war century for the Club in an era where pitch conditions, especially at home made fifties a rarity. Played prior to the First Eleven joining a League and was Club Vice Captain in the 1950s.
